«The Podvirya» Social and Cultural Center host a variety of events for people of different ages:
- group psychological trainings;
- art therapy sessions;
- master classes in Petrykivka painting (including a Petrykivka painting club);
- creative workshops of various kinds;
- dance fitness training,
- movie club nights,
- Friday meetings “Young at Heart” for people aged 60+, which include creative workshops, dance workshops, board games, dancing, poetry recitation, table tennis, musical performances, etc;
- mobile (gadget) literacy lessons for older people;
- Scandinavian walking training starts from here.
There is an adjacent area with a summer terrace for concerts and dances, two barbecues, a gazebo and a large lawn for picnics and various events.
«The Podvirya» Social and Cultural Center project has two major areas of work:
1) Youth: On March 6, 2024, the Youth Space was opened at «The Podvirya» Social and Cultural Center, a joint project of the SOS Civil Defense Headquarters and the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Organization of the Red Cross Society in Ukraine.
2) Work with people aged 30+: this area is implemented within the framework of the “Uniting for Action” program, implemented by IREX with the support from the U.S. Department of State.
