A charity run was organized to raise funds for the rehabilitation of the injured hero from Kamianets, Valeriy Odaiknik

Leonid Gurman, a volunteer from the Civil Defense Headquarters “SOS” organized some charity events to collect funds for the rehabilitation of Valeriy Odaiknik, a severely wounded soldier. In civilian life, Valeriy was a physical education teacher at Kamianets-Podіlskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University, where Leonid is the head of the athletics department.

The full-scale invasion forced the educator, Valeriy Odaiknik, to become a soldier. He was severely wounded near Bakhmut while carring out a military mission.

Around 900 people participated in the charity run – the youngest and the oldest, united by the desire to help a hero who sacrificed his health for the peaceful sky over the heads of Ukrainians.
