Another excursion?

Another excursion? No! A real adventure for boys and girls from Melitopol. The Crystal Cave in Kryvche village is a beautiful place that hides almost 3 kilometers of a rather difficult path. But the experience was definitely worth the effort! The boys and girls saw in real life, not in a photo in a textbook, how crystals grow, how they glow in the dark if you put a flashlight to them. They examined the ceilings and found images in the curves of the stone that the discoverers had seen here.

The children were also met by local inhabitants – small fragile bats. The children learned that the Podillia caves are home to about 20 species of bats that are protected by the state.

Time underground follows its own laws. An hour and a half passed too quickly. It’s time to return home. Tired and satisfied, lunch will definitely be delicious for everyone.

And the speleo guides of the Ternopil Regional Center for Tourism, Local History, Sports and Excursions for Students https://www.centr-tur.te.ua/

are not relaxing, because they are waiting for the second group of children who also desperately need to see the fairy-tale dungeon.

The project “Children of War” is implemented by the charitable foundation “SOS Civil Defense Headquarters” thanks to a grant from the Children’s Resilience Fund: Providing Capacity Building and Funding to Ukrainian Civil Society Organizations in Ukraine. The program is implemented by @CrownAgentsinUA and @IntegrityAction.
