For 13-year-old Polina, there’s no need to choose — Chernihiv is her hometown, and this is already her second time in Kamianets-Podilskyi. This year, she once again took part in the “Children of War” project.
Usually, children are gathered and sent as an organized group by the community, but this time it was different. Polina’s parents booked the spots themselves back in February because they wanted to give their children this experience.
In the video, Polina shares her impressions of this year’s trip, compares it with the previous one, and talks about what she enjoyed the most. She is open, sincere, and active — taking part in every activity of the project. And she is already planning to come again.
The project team is happy that Kamianets-Podilskyi has become an inseparable part of Polina’s and her friends’ childhood — a happy and fulfilling one despite the war.
The “Children of War” project is implemented by the SOS Civil Defense Headquarters Charitable Foundation thanks to a grant from the Children’s Resilience Fund: Providing Capacity Building and Funding to Ukrainian Civil Society Organisations. The program is carried out by @CrownAgentsinUA and @IntegrityAction.
