In addition to the general rules of safety and behavior in crisis situations, children learn about the work of firefighters firsthand. They can also touch real equipment, try on rescue suits and sit in a fire truck.
This is how career guidance meetings usually take place throughout the existence of the “Children of War” program. But not this time. The children from Melitopol were lucky enough to see how a firefighting team acts in real time during a real call.
Rescuers also rarely have to respond to a call under the worried and admiring gaze of children.
We believe in our heroes and look forward to meeting the next groups of children in the “Children of War” project.
