On March 18, the «SOS Civil Defense Headquarters» charitable foundation celebrated three years of its official registration. In fact, it began its activities on the first day of the full-scale invasion. The official registration opened up additional opportunities for implementing projects aimed at helping first the war-affected people and then everyone who needs support.
In three years, the charter has changed twice. The team was improved. Many of those who stood at the beginning of the SOS Headquarters have already returned home or continued their activities in other areas. The types of assistance have changed several times, depending on the changing needs and challenges of the day. The team is constantly learning something new, because before the war, none of us planned our future as part of a charitable foundation. We have learned to accept challenges, adapt to circumstances, and be a reliable anchor for our colleagues and people who come to us.
But some things remain unchanged – everyone who joins the team has a need to support others, to be useful in this difficult time for all of us.
We welcome everyone who is, was or will be involved in the activities of our charitable foundation. This is an experience that will stay with us for life.
